30 Days to Build an Email List – The fact that virtually every popular online entrepreneur has an email list is the number one advantage they have. This is a list of people who have opted in to obtain more details from you, have accessed free training, or have purchased something from you.

With 30 days to a bigger list, you’ll be well on your way to winning big online and accumulating the asset you’ll need to keep your income steady. In the world of marketing, one thing has remained constant: email! If you want to make it, you’ll need an email list.

Some measures which seem to repeat themselves, but this is simply due to the fact that you must be consistent with your traffic generation efforts. Each segment will have its own set of activities and content for that day. Only keep in mind that you may be using the same technique at times.

Also, feel free to focus on the steps more quickly. I’ve planned it so that each move takes a few hours each day. Some will require less effort, while others will necessitate a little more. The idea is to keep your eyes on the prize while being consistent.

For example, if you already have an email list and want to use this ebook to grow it, you might skip Day 1 through 4 and go straight to Day 5’s traffic portion. Please make an effort to read each section as I provide useful information that will assist you along the way.

Also, bear in mind that this guide is applicable to any online company. This will help you get more customers and company if you are a local brick and mortar business, an e-commerce store, an info marketer, an affiliate marketer, an Amazon Kindle author, a CPA, or even a hair stylist.

1. Make Your Lead Magnet. Build an Email List: Day 1

This may be one of the longer parts of the post, but it is the most valuable to read since it addresses the one thing you must have before you can start building your list! A lead magnet is the first thing you need to get started on your list-building efforts.

Those that already have a lead magnet and are looking to develop their lists can use the techniques in this section to improve their lead magnet and increase their conversions.

You can skip ahead to “Day #5”, which teaches the first traffic segment, if you prefer. Simply skim through Days 2, 3, and 4 to ensure you have a follow-up sequence in place and that your web form and autoresponder are configured properly.

If you’re just starting out with your email list, you’ll want to make sure you have enough to entice people to sign up and send you their personal details, such as their email address!

People would happily join your newsletter if you simply said “Join My Newsletter” back in the early days of online list building and marketing. Nowadays, though, people are less willing to share their email address, even though it is their best email address, with you.

As a result, you must give them a compelling reason to want to learn more about you. Here are six examples of excellent lead magnets that you can make and give away. Remember that the more enticing your deal is, the more people would happily give up their email addresses in exchange for it.

1. PDF Report on Top Tips

This may be a series of suggestions to assist people in solving a problem for which they are looking for a solution. If you’re a tax accountant who also provides CPA services, for example, you might write a report titled “The Top 8 Tax Savings Every Small Business Owner Should Know About.”

If you were a small business owner looking for tax assistance, you can bet that would grab your attention and convince you to give up your email address!

You can include the top eight tax-saving tips in this report, as well as a paragraph or page at the beginning and end that directs readers to your website for more details.

Look at Q&A pages like https://answerthepublic.com/ or www.quora.com if you’re lost for ideas that your market wants. You may also use www.youtube.com or www.google.com to search for your niche keyword term, such as “pet items,” “small business taxes,” or “mattresses,” and see what “Suggested Search Phrases” come up!

Look at forums in your industry or Amazon’s best-selling books in your niche. Simply use your imagination and begin writing. From start to finish, you could compose your entire lead magnet in just a few hours!

2. Video Training 

You can record a video that teaches people something important to them, just like the top tips report! Do not be put off by the prospect of making a film.

This video can be as simple as a PowerPoint slide in which you record your voice reading the text from the slides and then record it with simple screen capture software.

These kinds of videos are easy to create. You’ll be able to finish these videos in no time. Three separate screen capture recording software programmes are listed below.

1) Screencast-O-Matic (www.Screencast-O-Matic.com) – This is a free screen capture programme with an annual upgrade cost of $15. (at the time of writing this ebook). The watermark on the videos is removed with the annual upgrade option. In my view, this is a very low cost.

2) Jing – This is a free programme that can also capture videos and has a low upgrade to make working with video files simpler.

3) Camtasia – This is a more costly web-based app, but it’s well worth considering if you want to make a lot of videos in the future because it has a basic editor that can be used for all sorts of videos other than screen captures. To get your feet wet in making videos, I recommend starting with one of the free or low-cost choices.

Using your mobile phone to make a video or a series of videos to give away is another easy choice. Yes, even a well-held selfie video can be beneficial to you! In 10 minutes or less, you can create a fantastic video!

Simply make a list of what you want to cover, either on paper or in your head, and begin recording! It is not difficult to create a video! Getting started with video production is the most difficult aspect.

You can also start making videos to promote your landing page once you’ve gotten your feet wet in the video production process, as we’ll discuss later in this ebook.

3. Online Coaching Lessons

Offer e-coaching or email training as another common giveaway option! This is a fantastic way to get people to open your emails on a regular basis.

Instead of providing a single PDF or video as a lead magnet like the previous lead magnet concepts, you might send a series of 5 to 10 emails delivering the content daily, every other day, or weekly!

Another advantage of this technique is that it allows you to start building your list with only the first email! Then add the rest, and once your e-coaching lessons are over, you won’t have to do it again unless you want to refresh them.

Both of these can be sent out automatically through your autoresponder, which we’ll go through in more detail on day 2. Simply find trending topics to write about and use it as your list magnet!

The trick is to find content that your audience cares about and make it simple for them to consume it.

4. Exclusive Interviews

Another interesting way to quickly build a lead magnet is to interview an expert in your field. This entails conducting research to find a well-known author, speaker, blogger, radio show host, or other specialist in your field to conduct an electronic 15- to 30-minute interview with you.

Simply create a list of the most important questions to ask and invite your friends to join you on Skype or Google Hangouts! Then you send the interview to your audience as an audio file after they sign up for your email list!

5. Special Webinar Access

Hosting a live webinar in your market is a perfect way to start creating a list, and you can use the webinar as an ongoing lead magnet once it’s done. Simply set a date for your special webinar and direct people to your registration page.

To host the webinar, you can use Google Hangouts (which is free) or GoToWebinar. Webinars can also be used as a promotional tool so you can quickly sell the goods or services at the end of them. Even your affiliates can be able to assist you in generating traffic.

The trick, just as with the other lead magnets, is to pick a subject on which you know your audience wants more information!

Exclusive Offer or Coupon Code

This is by far the most simple lead magnet to make! You can build a one-of-a-kind coupon code to give to people who sign up for your email list! It’s an excellent approach because it addresses two issues.

  1. What would you be giving away? 
  2. Gives your customers a reason to buy from you right away!

The most straightforward method is to generate a generic coupon code and distribute it to your customers, or give them access to a special discount page where they can access your goods in the future!

Day 1 Assignment: At this stage, you can decide which lead magnet you want to use and begin developing it. Don’t give this move too much thought! Simply begin to create! You can still make things better later. In industry, perfectionism would almost certainly result in failure.

Although you want to produce high-quality materials that represent your brand, you must know that unless your lead magnet is complete, you will receive no new email subscribers.

Let’s get started on day 2 by creating this lead magnet and setting up our autoresponder programme so we can start collecting email subscribers!

2. Create an Account With an Autoresponder. Build an Email List: Day 2

We want you to concentrate all of your attention on taking action, so the amount of reading you do each day will decrease as we progress through this phase.

That will be the secret to your success and the growth of your email list over the next 30 days! Let’s take a look at how to set up your autoresponder in this segment. If you already have an autoresponder that you like, you can skip this phase and go straight to Day #3, which you can do now or tomorrow

This move is a little more scientific, but it’s still easy enough for everyone to do! I’ll provide you with direct links to the online tutorials you’ll need to complete the numerous steps mentioned, all of which come from the four main companies I suggest you start with.

An autoresponder is a must-have software tool for creating an email list. This will serve as your email address database, assist in list building automation, provide you with the required opt-in forms to expand your list, and enable you to acquire new email subscribers!

There are several autoresponders available online, but I’ll show you four of the most common. The top two autoresponders for online businesses (Aweber and GetResponse) are the most commonly used.

Please don’t get too worked up about finding the right autoresponder for you! The most crucial aspect is that you choose an autoresponder! All four of these will suffice! It all boils down to cost and personal preference.

You can go to each one and get a price estimate. With these, the pricing adjusts. From a feature standpoint, I’d say they all have roughly the same feature sets. Personally, I’ve found Aweber to be the easiest to work with right out of the box, and they’re definitely the most well-known in the autoresponder industry. As a result, they are at the top of my list.

Choose your autoresponder of choice for this move, and then follow the instructions on their website to generate your first list that corresponds to your lead magnet.

If your lead magnet is a study on the best 6 ways to lose weight quickly, your list may be called top6reportloseweight or something similar. I’ll add a direct link to the support section for each of the four autoresponders listed above to finish this process of creating your first list. You must first create an account with them, and then you must create an email list!

MailChimp Help Section 

MailChimp is well-known for providing the first 2,000 email subscribers for free. You should double-check their pricing model because once you reach 2,000 subscribers, you might be paying a lot of money. Only make sure to compare prices with other autoresponder providers.

You’re also limited to sending 12,000 emails a month to these 2,000 free subscribers. As a result, the number of messages you can send is limited. If you think they’d be a good match for you, you can look over their tutorials here:


ActiveCampaign Help Section 

One of the best features of ActiveCampaign is their strong tagging system. Some may claim that their tagging rivals InfusionSoft, a far more costly email automation suite. Their automation software, as well as their clean video collection, are also impressive!


Day #2 Assignment: is to choose your preferred autoresponder! You should skip to day 3 if you already have an autoresponder! Simply use the autoresponder that you are most familiar with. Do not get stuck on this step again. If you’re unsure, I recommend Aweber because it’s the easiest to use when you’re first starting out.

3. Creating Your Email Follow Up Sequence. Build an Email List: Day 3

We’ve already completed day three and are making great progress through the method! Today’s lesson is straightforward, so it’s incredibly beneficial to you! It’s also great for your business’s bottom line! Now, I know you’re eager to start having email subscribers, but there are only two more items we need to do to make sure we get the most out of our list-building efforts.

In this phase, we’ll create follow-up emails and then import them into our autoresponder. I propose that we create a five-email series that introduces people to who you are and what types of information they may expect to receive from you in their inbox.

The follow-up emails serve a variety of purposes, including getting your email subscribers to open your emails, getting them to know, like, and trust you, and allowing you to sell them on your own or affiliate items automatically.

The best part is that once your follow-up series is set up, it can generate cash on autopilot for years! As a result, each new email subscriber will begin the follow-up sequence from the beginning. You have the choice of having 5 or 200 follow-up emails in your autoresponder. It’s entirely up to you in this situation.

Only remember that when you set it up for yourself, it’s money that you don’t have to touch. So, for this move, let’s start writing 3 to 5 email follow-up messages.

The first email should introduce yourself, what they should expect to learn from you and your business, the types of emails you will send them, and how often they can expect to hear from you. Let them know whether it’s on a regular or weekly basis.

Following your welcome email, we will send out follow-up emails with valuable content for your subscribers, such as links to articles or blog posts you’ve written. You can advertise one of your products or a similar partner product in the third through fifth emails.

This means you find a product that is important to your market, grab the affiliate connection for that product, and add it to your list as a presell. You’ll be shocked by how many people will see this automated follow-up email as your list grows and click the connection to buy directly from you.

After you’ve finished writing your emails, add them to the autoresponder series of the autoresponder programme you’ve chosen, such as Aweber.

Day #3 Assignment: Begin writing 3 to 5 follow-up emails and insert them into your preferred autoresponder series. This is a simple but straightforward assignment. If you’re unsure what should go into a follow-up series, look back at previous email lists you’ve entered and see what they’re doing with their first emails.

4. Squeeze Page Setup (Landing Page). Build an Email List: Day 4

For this move, we’ll need to set up our squeeze page. The landing page is another name for the squeeze page. The squeeze page’s concept is that we offer people two key choices.

The first choice is for them to include their email address in return for your lead magnet, and the second option is for them to leave the page.

To ensure that your squeeze page converts as much as possible, keep it as basic as possible. We want to “squeeze” details from those who visit the website, which is why it’s called a squeeze page!

You want to keep it easy, as you can see from my example squeeze page. I’m going to give you the prototype for a most successful squeeze page. This page was created with the #1 page creator. In reality, it was all created with ClickFunnels, the best landing page funnel builder.

It has consistently been a highest-converting squeeze page, with conversion rates exceeding 50%! You want to aim for conversions of between 35 and 50 percent on your squeeze list, but if you can find a winner above 50 percent, all the better! As a result, I’ve included this best-converting example for you.

An attention-grabbing headline is one of the most important components of a squeeze list. The advantages of what they will get from your lead magnet should be highlighted in your headline.

For example, if you’re creating a lead magnet about “The Top 8 Tax Savings Every Small Business Owner Should Know About,” your headline could be something like this:

“Learn about the top eight tax savings that any small business should be aware of!”

This will undoubtedly pique their interest because it piques their interest. This method can be used for any lead magnet in any niche market! That’s what makes it so appealing! So concentrate on a strong headline and a straightforward sub-headline.

“Follow this tested & easy formula for generating real income via the Internet,” I say in my sub-headline, which appears below the headline. “Follow this tested & easy formula for saving huge amounts on your taxes!” you might tell in the case of taxes.

If you want an e-cover like this one, you can either recruit someone on www.fiverr.com for a low price or use a programme called PixelStudioFx for all your e-cover needs.

Simply follow the instructions in the support section of your autoresponder of choice to insert your web form. These hyperlinks were discovered on Day 2.

They have tutorials to help you set up your web form and integrate it into your blog. If you ever get stuck here, go to www.fiverr.com and type in “autoresponder” to find someone who can help you for a very low price. It’s often easier to pay $5 to $25 to get things done correctly than to waste hours upon hours of frustration!

Alternatively, you can use pre-tested pages from groovefunnels, or ClickFunnels, which all use WordPress, to build your landing pages and squeeze pages. One of the key things we wanted to get done today was to set up the squeeze website!

The next most important step is to provide a link to the squeeze page on all of your online sites. This includes your blog, website, email signature, YouTube Channel, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Facebook, Facebook Page, WeChat profile, and resource box for articles you might have already written and published online!

The point is that you want to spread the connection to your squeeze page all over the internet so that people keep coming back to it. With just a simple squeeze page like the one we set up in day #4, you can honestly run an entire six-figure online company. So take this seriously and spread the word about this page!

Over the next 25 days or so, the emphasis will be on driving traffic back to this optin type. You’re trying to get as many subscribers as possible! Spend some extra time today making sure you’ve covered all of your bases and that this squeeze page is visible on all of your social media accounts! It will be extremely beneficial to you in the coming measures!

Day #4 Assignment: For today’s assignment, build your squeeze page and autoresponder web form. Then, on all of your social media sites and accounts that you already own, post a link to your squeeze page and opt-in page!

5. Create a Fantastic Blog Post or Article. Build an Email List: Day 5

Today is a special day because it marks the beginning of our efforts to drive traffic to our opt-in form or squeeze link! This means we’ve reached the point in the process where we can start collecting email addresses!

Congratulations on making it this far into the programme! As previously said, continuity is the secret to traffic! So, when you go through this process, be very consistent.

Follow the measures outlined on each day to see your list expand dramatically! There will be less reading and more doing now that we’ve moved on to traffic tips! These parts would become much shorter.

As a result, for today’s lesson, you must write a high-quality blog post or article that will entice your target audience to visit your website and ultimately subscribe to your email list.

Make sure you put in the effort to create some awesome content because one good article will help you get traffic for months or even years. We’re just going to write this article for this move.

I’ll send you some suggestions below, but if you don’t want to publish, you can easily outsource it to sites like www.iwriter.com or www.fiverr.com. On www.iwriter.com, you can get a fantastic content piece written for anywhere between $10 and $40.

Listicles are the forms of papers that perform well. A list is included in this article. Top ten lists, for example, work well here. Here are some examples of “Listicles”:

The aim is to produce a piece of content that will entice people to read it. You can get inspiration by searching at industry forums, Facebook groups, famous websites in your industry, magazine covers on newsstands and online, and suggested search phrases on Google or YouTube!

Go to Google Images at www.google.com/images and check for “magazine name covers” or “niche magazine covers” to come up with great article ideas for your industry.

So, if you’re in the fitness industry, you should look up “fitness magazine covers.” Then take a peek at the article topics on the cover.

Magazines want to be read, but they just put the most interesting subjects on the front covers to entice readers! This is a fantastic way to generate content ideas!

Along with quality material, a good picture is the next most important thing you’ll need. www.pixabay.com or www.pexels.com are good places to look for royalty-free images for your post.

You can also use resources like www.canva.com or www.youzign.com to create some cool-looking photos. These allow you to create stunning designs using web-based point-and-click apps.

You should include a picture because it will increase the number of shares your article receives on social media and enable you to gain more traffic from other related online traffic sources.

Day #5 Assignment: Conduct research and write (or have written) one decent online article or blog post. Make one nice picture to go with your article and share it on social media later.

6. Promote the Article on Social Media. Build an Email List: Day 6

The task for today is simple but crucial. However, if you are brand new to social media and do not yet have accounts or pages set up on the major social media sites, this move . take some time to complete!

Rest assured that your efforts are worthwhile and will pay off! You need to get your content in front of your target audience and on search engines now that you’ve produced something pretty cool. As a result, you’ll upload the article or blog post to social media channels in this step.

To get started, copy and paste your article into your WordPress blog or website. If you have an ecommerce shop, you can add this to the article section. This should be written on your website to make it work better for you.

IMPORTANT STEP: Once you’ve published your article on social media, preview it to see how it will appear when shared. You can use a free application called “The Facebook Debugger” from Facebook.


Put the connection to your content into this tool, and you’ll be able to see what picture and text they’re using.

If it doesn’t look right and you’re using WordPress, you can use the Social Post Magic plugin to help you correct the settings for when you publish your material.

Social Post Magic will also upload your content on all of the big social media platforms on your behalf. As a result, this phase will be very automated for you.

Ad Trackz Pro is another great tool that I use for tracking clicks on my links, allowing me to easily alter the social media images and text, and doing it all in one app.

You’ll want to share with the major social media platforms, but bear in mind that if you’re just getting started, you may not have a large social media following. Do not be discouraged by this. No one had any social media followers when they first started!

So you’re starting where the most well-known brands and businesses on the internet began! So, let’s build a connection to our fantastic article and send it to the following channels:

1) Facebook allows you to quickly create a following for your company, and it is commonly used by all businesses. If you already have company followers on Facebook, there’s no harm in sharing this valuable content on your personal profile. You should also create a Facebook page for your niche as well as your company. So get those pages up and running, and then submit to these.

2) Twitter has always been an excellent source of traffic. You can start following people who are involved in similar topics to your brand once you’ve created your Twitter account. Check out my Twitter Training below <<

So go out and find the most well-known speakers, writers, and trainers in your market, and start following the people who follow them. You’ll find that about 25% of them will eventually return the favour. That is how you can start growing your Twitter following from the ground up.

Make sure to have a headline that will entice people to read your post, as well as hashtags relevant to your niche. These hashtags would be used if you were teaching dog training tips #dogtraining #puppytraining #dogobedience 

3) Linkedin Many people overlook LinkedIn, but it is an excellent platform for disseminating your content. You can also connect your Twitter and LinkedIn accounts so that any time you post on Twitter, it also appears on LinkedIn.

You’ll learn a lot about how to use them effectively for your blog. Some of the most popular online niche blogs rely almost entirely on Pinterest for traffic, and they profit greatly from it!

Day #6 Assignment: Share your day #5 content piece on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Pinterest. If you do not already have an account with these websites, you should do so before posting. If you want to do something extra today, start looking for another blog post or article to write, as content is crucial to your traffic success.

7. Make a Video Out of Your Post. Build an Email List: Day 7

For today’s assignment, you’ll need to make a video using the article you wrote on day 5! While video can appear to be intimidating, I can assure you that it is much easier than you think! You can’t overlook the enormous potential that video has for promoting your company online.

Simply take the article and copy/paste the key points into PowerPoint slides for this move. If you don’t have PowerPoint, you can use OpenOffice, which is also free, or Google Slides, which is also free. The first move is to launch the application.

Then you could make separate slides for each of your article’s key points. The material you see will be the bullet points on those slides. …or simply use Video Pal that does it all for you.

The following step is to document the presentation. You’ll need screen capture tools for this. We talked about this earlier in the novel, but I’ll go over your choices now.

You can start recording your PowerPoint presentation once you’ve chosen the screen capture programme you want to use. A microphone is preinstalled on the majority of laptop computers. It will sound amazing if you sit close enough to the computer screen.

If you’ve already set up your social media accounts, today’s task will be particularly simple and fast for you. After uploading the video to YouTube, you must start posting it to social networking platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn for today’s task.

Make sure you share this on your Facebook accounts and in related Facebook groups. After you’ve uploaded your video to YouTube, another great way to get more mileage out of it is to embed it on your website or blog.

The first step is to sign up for a YouTube account at www.youtube.com. If you already have a Gmail or Google account, this should be a simple process. Then you must upload your video to YouTube by following the steps. You can upload a video by going to https://www.youtube.com/upload.

Give yourself a pat on the back right now! You’ve now produced a marketing piece, shared it on social media, and made a video! Now is the time to create a Facebook ad to take your marketing game and your list development to the next level.

Facebook earns money by advertising ads on their page, and you’ve probably seen them in the sidebars, the newsfeed, and even in images. The Facebook platform is a fantastic way to connect with your target market. You may target specific demographics with Facebook advertising, such as age, gender, and, most importantly, interests.

You should look for an involved online forum group to make this approach work best. Checking the most recent posts in that forum will quickly reveal this. Also, check through the posts to see if a signature option is available. So, below each post, there would be a section where people could put a link to their website.

You may also look at the forum users’ profile pages to see if they have a website feature. Instead of including a link to your main website, you’d include a link to your squeeze page.
